Cloudflare DNS

Configure DNS records and Cloudflare proxy mode.

Official documentationVerified · 4 September 2026

Add the domain in Cloudflare

Open the DNS zone for the domain whose nameservers are managed by Cloudflare. Create the CNAME and TXT records exactly as shown in CRD settings.

Proxy mode

The CRD verifier recognizes addresses used by the Cloudflare proxy. You therefore do not need to disable proxying systematically before verification. If CRD reports an unexpected value, first compare the record name and target with the portal values.

Useful checks

  • no A, AAAA, or other CNAME should conflict on the same subdomain;
  • the TXT record must use the exact requested name;
  • the edited zone must be the one publicly answering for the domain;
  • after a correction, run verification again from CRD.

Cloudflare interface labels may change. The target displayed in CRD remains the source of truth.
