How scanning works

Detection, matching, and qualification of accessible content.

Official documentationVerified · 4 September 2026
Detected results in a creator profile
Results are matched to the creator and then qualified before action.

What CRD looks for

The system uses public identities declared by the creator to query accessible results, including pages and image results. Matches are extracted, normalized, and connected to the relevant case record.

Qualification

A detected result is not automatically an infringement. CRD considers the URL, source, searched identity, official accounts, and exclusions before creating or updating an actionable case.

Duplicates may be grouped to avoid several cases for the same resource.

Cadence and coverage

The effective cadence depends on the product, plan, and account state. Refer to the portal or your commercial agreement for the frequency applicable to the agency. This documentation does not guarantee a fixed day or exhaustive coverage of the internet.
