Verify instead of assuming

After a filing, CRD probes the recorded URL again. A 404 or 410 response, or a page explicitly stating that the resource was removed, can confirm that it is no longer accessible at that address.

What does not prove removal

Rate limits, bot walls, server errors, network timeouts, and security pages are not interpreted as a removal. Depending on the result, CRD keeps the case in progress, uses an additional assisted check, or requests manual review.

Read the status

• Removed: removal is confirmed for the tracked URL.
• In progress: the resource remains accessible or the procedure continues.
• Needs verification: the response is not reliable enough to conclude.
