Reporting troubleshooting

Understand why a filing has not been sent or has not progressed.

Official documentationVerified · 4 September 2026

No filing is sent

Check the case in this order:

  1. the URL is actionable and belongs to a recognized source;
  2. it is neither an official account nor an excluded domain;
  3. the source has an active destination;
  4. the account or agency has a valid service entitlement;
  5. the required DMCA authorization is approved;
  6. the applicable quota is not exhausted;
  7. no permanent or recent duplicate is blocking the filing.

Delivery is unconfirmed

“Unconfirmed” means no usable delivery evidence is recorded. It proves neither failure nor receipt. Review the log and route used before resending.

Follow-ups do not progress

A follow-up depends on the case’s current eligibility and route. When available templates are exhausted or the destination is no longer actionable, the case requires manual attention.
