Guidance for common registrars and DNS providers.

Provider-independent procedure

Menus differ between registrars, but the data to publish remains what CRD supplies: a CNAME to point the subdomain and, when requested, a TXT record to prove control.

  1. Identify the provider hosting the active DNS zone, not only the company where the domain was purchased.
  2. Open its advanced DNS editor.
  3. Copy the name, type, and value shown by CRD.
  4. Remove incompatible records on the same name.
  5. Save, then run verification again in the portal.

Absolute and relative names

Some providers automatically append the root domain to the “Name” field. If CRD requests app.your-agency.com, the interface may expect only app. The final preview must match the complete requested hostname.
