DNS troubleshooting
Diagnose a domain verification that is not completing.
No CNAME found
The requested hostname is not yet publishing the expected CNAME. Check the active DNS zone, the “Name” field, and the target supplied by CRD. Some providers append the root domain automatically.
Unexpected target
A CNAME exists but points elsewhere. Correct it and remove any competing A, AAAA, or CNAME record on the same subdomain.
Missing or incorrect TXT
Copy the verification name and value again. Avoid manually adding quotes if the provider already handles them.
Domain already in use
The hostname may still be attached to another workspace or project. Remove the old configuration before validating again.
Verification remains pending
Query the public records or wait until the change is visible, then use the verification action again. An active Cloudflare proxy is not by itself a reason for failure.
